Christian Benteke had a moment to forget from the spot as Crystal Palace were beaten 1-0 by West Ham on Saturday.
The Belgian, who had scored a hat-trick in midweek against Gibraltar, was brought down in the area with West Ham 1-0 up at Selhurst Park, before dusting himself down to step up from 12 yards.
However, his nonchalant penalty drifted wide of the right-hand post as the striker opened his body up, an embarrassing miss for the £32m summer signing from Liverpool.
One Crystal Palace fan showed his frustration at the miss, kicking the ball back into play having caught it in the Whitehorse Lane Stand behind the goal.
The miss proved costly as West Ham held on throughout the second half after Manuel Lanzini's early goal, despite seeing Aaron Cresswell sent off late on for two bookings in quick succession.
It leaves West Ham 15th in the Premier League with seven points from eight games, while Palace are in eighth, four points above the Hammers.
